According to a study done by students at the University of British Colombia, exercise helps increase brain memory and focus which can be applied to school. Students at Pacific Elementary have run day at their school every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in hopes to help their students get the “wiggles” out before class. Jen Temperley and Lisa Hardimon, parents of Pacific students, started this program last year to help get their students active, as well as getting their brains ready to focus for when class begins.
