Chad Sumen Ceramics

Chad Sumen, a junior, began in Ceramics 1-2 this year, and ever since then, he decided to make pottery at home. A few months ago, he started his own “Pottery Barn” in a shed in his backyard. He purchased a 1000 pounds of clay and two kilns to fire his pots. Ever since, he has fired and glazed over 200 pieces, which he has given away, kept at home, and sold.

He makes pottery everyday, and he currently teaches three people how to make pottery at his house.
