Schools like CSU Dominguez Hills, Brandeis University and George Washington University have gone the “test optional” route – meaning they no longer require test scores to be submitted in the student application. While this change was made to positively help students who struggle with taking tests, other colleges feel that the ACT and SAT accurately predict which high school applicants will be successful.
