Dial-A-Ride was developed in order to provide an affordable method of transportation to the elderly and disabled population in Manhattan Beach. It not only makes medical appointments and trips to the supermarket easy, but also allows more people to meet and bond with one another. Every Wednesday, older adults are invited to “Night on the Town”, where people can use Dial-A-Ride to go out to dinner with other users of the service. We tagged along with the passengers to find out what kind of benefits this service can bring.
