On Monday, January 11th, Westboro Baptist Church picketed at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California. After posting their plans to protest on their website, members of Redondo Union’s Gay Straight Alliance Club along with other LGBT supporters in the community formed a counter protest. The protest lasted from 7:00 am to 7:30 am and proceeded in a nonviolent manner.
