According to study by the Pew Research Center, 36% of Americans between the ages of 18 and 25 have tattoos. This can affect the hiring process, as people sometimes look negatively upon those with tattoos. Getting a tattoo has its benefits, as it promotes expression of yourself and it can serve as a token that you can keep with you forever, but this also comes with some negatives. 27% of managers say that they wouldn’t hire someone with large, visible tattoos. While 27% say that they wouldn’t hire, 76% say that having a tattoo would negatively affect a job interview.
