New Year, Same Traditions

Chinese New Year, also known as the Spring Festival, is defined as the first day of the first month in the traditional Chinese calendar, the Lunar Calendar. Chinese New Year is the longest Chinese holiday lasting for 15 days. This year, 2019, it is the year of the Pig.  This festivity is a time for family reunion, and is considered the most important part of the Chinese New Year celebration.

To celebrate the new year, here are some events that are happening in Los Angeles:
