Teens often face tremendous academic pressure to achieve at a high level, as well as social pressure to “fit in.” Instead of finding healthy ways to cope, it’s becoming increasingly more common for teens to turn to marijuana. According to a schoolwide survey, recently conducted by the PACE program, marijuana ranks above alcohol as the most commonly used substance by Costa students.
In this documentary, we investigate one potential cause of the problem: a lack of developed coping skills, as well as healthy ways teens can manage stress.
