California is home to more than 2 million immigrants who lack legal status. Currently, undocumented people living in California can’t access Obama Care, leaving 45% of them uninsured. While they may receive health benefits from their employers, they may relay on places such as Emergency Rooms to provide immediate care, consequently leaving the patients with a high bill.
