Almost every day and every hour, every object on Earth is under the sun.
Besides supplying all living organisms with its necessary source of energy, another use of the sun’s rays were first discovered back in the 1800s. Now, the advancement of solar panels have greatly influenced the way energy is stored and used to produce electricity around the world. Solar energy is trending fast, and with April being the month of going green (Earth Day) what better time is there to invest in solar panels?
First, why are solar panels effective?
- They are environmentally friendly and do not produce any source of emission or pollution that contributes to global warming
- They help provide an extra source of electrical energy, which means it’ll lessen the use of electricity from other resources (oil, fuel, etc)
- The sun is almost always out, meaning this source of energy is reliable, unlimited, and more secure
- Because the sun’s energy is free for use as electricity, man-made electricity can be used less resulting in people saving money over time
There are a few disadvantages of solar panels, like how the sun isn’t out 24 hours a day. The sun’s rays are slightly limited, so people can’t be 100% dependent on solar power. But utilizing solar energy in different ways (depending on the company of the solar panels) can prevent the lack of energy needed for electricity.
Installing solar panels can be a decision that could take years to finally settle on, but think of the benefits. Solar energy just might be the uncovering solution to the problems that our planet is encountering.
