Animal Shelters rescue over 8 million cats and dogs every year nationwide from the streets. Volunteers form connections with the animals and educate others about how to properly treat them. Organizations in the South Bay including SPCALA and the Lovejoy Foundation are active in the animal community and work to maintain high adoption rates.
