Starting this school year, students at Manhattan Beach Middle School are not allowed to use their phones and IPads for personal use during school hours. This rule along with other new school policies were put in place by MBMS’s new principal, Kim Linz. This new policy shocked students and parents, however, Students are being more productive both in class and during lunch. The school will continue with their 1:1 iPad Program even though despite these changes in school policy.
