Going Cold Turkey

Thanksgiving is almost here and every plate you pile with holiday fixings might be contributing to the weakening of our planet. Animal products like meat emit a large amount of carbon dioxide that comes from the butchering and transportation processes. The carbon dioxide released traps heat in our atmosphere and contributes to climate change. Vegetarian and vegan diets reduce the amount of animal products consumed which will lower your carbon emissions greatly. Local restaurants such as Stuff I Eat, The Spot, Rabano, and Veggie Grill allow South Bay residents to be mindful about their impact on our planet.
