The Earth’s temperature has risen about 1.62 degrees Fahrenheit (0.9 degrees Celsius) since the late 19th century, and the main cause behind the change is man-made emissions. In order to combat global warming, and also to decrease spending costs for our district, Manhattan Beach Unified School District implemented solar panels at Mira Costa High School. Maya Hernandez and Lily Eun report on the effect this technology has had in the environment.
