Students’s are constantly overwhelmed by their intense schedules and are left with little time to eat breakfast in the morning. Whether they are in a rush to get to class, or are simply not hungry in the morning, their quick decision to skip out on their first meal can impact the rest of their day. Skipping breakfast is proven to be associated with decreased levels of alertness and academic performance among students. Preparing an extravagant meal in the morning is time consuming, but there are alternatives you can prepare that satisfy your nutritional needs. Something as simple as a a piece of peanut butter toast with banana slices and a glass of milk is high in protein and fiber, two things which experts recommend to have in your meals.
