Everyone has those days… you’re not alone. You know, the days when you lock your keys in your car along with your backpack and phone when you’re already running late to class. Or the days when you drop your binder and every paper you’ve ever written is suddenly exploding all over the classroom floor. It happens, but there’s only one thing you can do: shake it off.
Sometimes these days may occur more often than you wish. There will be times when it seems like everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong. But it’s just a matter of staying positive and accepting the fact that everything will be as it should be. It might not be as soon as you want it to, but patience will make the outcome worthwhile.
Accept that you will make mistakes; you’re only human. But learn to try again and again until you feel as if there is nothing left to give.
And then, you will have your day. You will feel like you are on top of the world; nothing can stop you. All of the suffering will be worth it and you will realize that everything truly does happen for a reason.
…Until you sleep through your morning class and trip over your shoelaces in the hallway during passing period. Once again, you’re back to having one of those days. Although, this time you know things will get better. It happens, and there’s only one thing you can do: shake it off.
