At times, students try to play around CIF rules to transfer schools in order to get ahead in their athletics. As stated by CIF Bylaw 510, public schools are not allowed to recruit students athletes and students are not allowed to transfer schools for athletically motivated reasons. Although these laws are in place, students are still finding way to bend the rules.
