The Girls Golf team won the State Championship this year.  This is the first time the girls have ever won, and they broke their record of having their lowest score in the round before State.  Three out of six seniors will play golf for their college.  Andrea Lee signed to Stanford her Sophomore year, and is excited to attend there in the fall.  The seniors had to go through many process of choosing where they wanted to go.  Coach Tom Cox is very happy about the girls winning.  He said that this was a longer work in progress than just this year.  The girls have been playing golf for their whole lives and their hard work has finally paid off.  Though their goal is to be just as amazing next year, State Championships are hard to achieve and the team is focusing on their win for right now.
