Traditional Japanese foods, delectable desserts, and amazing museums. Does it get better than that? You can easily find all of the above in a small town called Little Tokyo. This slice of history has been around for over thirty years, and it continues to change and grow. There are five blocks left of the original Little Tokyo that have remained the same for years. One of the sweetshops in this area is the Fugetsu-do Confectionary, and it has been using the same recipe ever since 1909 when it was first established. Although only a small piece of the original Little Tokyo remains, the Little Tokyo Historical Society is working to preserve and expand people’s knowledge of the town.
