This is a show about a character named Ted Mosby, an aspiring architect, recounting to his kids about how he met their mother. Ted tells his kids about the crazy adventures that he went on with his four best friends: Barney, Lily, Marshall, and Robin. In each episode, a new problem usually occurs within one of the characters lives, and everybody is dragged into it. The show began airing in 2005, and the final episode, that was widely criticized, aired in 2013. This show is enjoyed by many, because of the loveable characters, multiple storylines, frequent plot twists, and cliffhangers.

Consisting of six seasons total, Gossip Girl is an old yet still popular show. This show is about a girl, Blair Waldorf, who has her life perfectly put together until her former best friend, Serena van der Woodsen comes back from boarding school. The series centers around status, popularity, and boys, which is why when Dan Humphrey, who is from Brooklyn, tries to make his way into the lives of the “Upper East Siders,” Gossip Girl starts sending out blasts to the whole school about everybody’s personal lives. This TV show has an addictive quality to it because of the drama and the schemes. In the last episode, which aired in 2012, Gossip Girl is finally revealed, much to the surprise of everyone.
After getting engaged to Larry, Piper Chapman, a bisexual woman, decides to turn herself in for possessing drugs long ago. While in prison, Piper runs into an old ex-girlfriend, who was involved with the drug smuggling, ten years ago. The show progresses, and deals with many breakups and issues between friends and lovers. This show is an original Netflix series, and it became Netflix’s most-watched series during the first month after the second season was released in June. Fans are waiting for the third season to come out.
