With the holidays just around the corner, it’s time to break out your cooking supplies and get baking! One tasty and unique desert to share with your friends and family is Holiday English Toffee. It’s easy to make, unlike your usual holiday treats.
Ingredients
-9″ X 9″ pan
-Aluminum Foil
-Pot (to boil ingriedients)
-2 sticks of butter
-Sliced almonds
-1 cup of sugar
-6 Hershey Bars
Directions
1. Line the 9″ X 9″ pan with aluminum foil.
2. Lay down a thin layer of sliced almonds.
3. Break up Hershey Bars into small pieces and set them over the almonds. Set the pan with almonds and chocolate aside.
4. Melt a stick of butter in a pan.
5.Once melted, pour in the cup of sugar.
6. Continue stirring until the mixture is a light brown.
7. Pour the mixture over your pan of almonds and chocolate.
8. Lightly press down with a fork to push the almonds into the chocolate.
9. Place the pan into the fridge and let it cool.
10. Once hardened, break the toffee into pieces.
Now that your toffee is all made, it’s ready to enjoy and share for the holidays!
